We are a small group of animal lovers who have offered continual dog-walking, pet-sitting and pet care services in Roslindale, West Roxbury and Jamaica Plain for over 20 years. We’ve recently added CHESTNUT HILL to our service area. Hounds About Town has earned a reputation for consistency, professionalism and dependability.  Jen Rumpza took over in 2018 and has added to the growing family of HAT clients and walkers, happily living her dream of working with pets and pet-loving people.

We maintain a loyal client base and retain our excellent, experienced dog walkers who form strong bonds from the time they take their first walk with your pets. The best part is that you know your dog is excited every day to go on a walk with friends.  And you have a pool of dependable people to choose from for pet sitting and overnight needs.

Signing up is easy and communication is always prompt.  Because life can be a juggle, we are flexible about making changes.  We can set you up with a recurring schedule or you can you choose what you need on a weekly or daily basis. Check out our Policies when registering on Time to Pet.

We are committed to creating the most enjoyable experience for your dog, whether that means limiting the number of dogs he or she walks with, or matching up dogs who prefer slower walks, or creating play groups where dogs who like to play can do so with their best buds.
